EPS Roof Insulation

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)
EPS Roof Insulation is reliable, cost-effective and compatible with major roofing materials and systems.

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) stands the test of time, and EPS roof insulation is a proven performer in roofing applications. Field studies of expanded polystyrene (EPS) roof installations that are 20 to 25 years old and older show that EPS roof insulation performs well in roof applications.
EPS Foam Roof Panels

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Roof Insulation can be the perfect answer to your log home's roof insulation needs. EPS Foam Roof Panels offer several distinct advantages over other forms of insulation -- permanent R value, inherent water resistance, excellent physical properties and dimensional stability. Our roof panels are available with or without OSB panels prebonded to the top of the panel.

Features and Benefits of EPS Foam Roof Panels
- EPS foam gives better thermal efficiency per dollar than other insulations.
- EPS foam delivers R4 insulating capacity per inch of depth,
- Thermal performance is more stable over time than other insulations.
- Low water absorption but still breathable.
- Dimensionally stable and moisture has little or no effect on stability.
- Minimal weight on the roof.
- Easy to handle and install.

Benefits of EPS Roof Insulation

EPS roof insulation has no thermal drift and does not use blowing agents that diffuse out of the insulation. Expanded polystyrene roof insulation R-Values remain stable over its entire life and does not experience thermal drift or loss of R-Value.

Manufacturing procedures for roof insulation that are identified in quality control manuals include: material tracing, in-plant testing of product, random sampling of product by outside independent laboratories and labeling of finished product for in-field identification.

The quality assurance program is the most comprehensive in the expanded polystyrene (EPS) roof insulation industry. It allows for complete code compliance, certification to critical physical properties and roof listings from UL, FM and others.

EPS roof insulation is recyclable and environmentally friendly. It contains no CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs or formaldehyde, and it comes with a 20-year thermal warranty.

Flat Roof InsulationFlat Roof Insulation
Foam-Control® Flat Roof Insulation provides high long-term R-Value of EPS and labor-saving face laminates. Suitable for use with all roofing membrane materials, expanded polystyrene (EPS) roof insulation is compatible with loose-laid and attached single-ply membranes, conventional built-up roofing or modified bitumen systems.

Foam-Control® Flat Roof Insulation is unfaced EPS and is suitable for use with loosely laid single-ply membranes. Flat EPS Roof Insulation is also used with conventional BUR and mechanically or adhesively attached single-ply and modified bitumen membranes when field-applied coverboards are used. Boards are standard 4'x4' and 4'x8' sizes.
